It's a Buddha! It's a Flower! It's an Exquisite Corpse print from our October First Friday! Getting ready for Halloween at the end of the month we pulled out some exquisite corpse blocks with seasonal orange and black ink! A light-hearted and fun way to play with lino-cut blocks.
First Friday is upon us again in just a few days!
This month for the First Friday Art Walk we will be printing Food Themed blocks and maybe a few fall leaves too. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Do you think we will make a print version? I have carved a slice of pie, I do like pie but I promise I won't eat the print. What else? Turkey, cranberry sauce, brussel sprouts or green beans? Maybe a bowl of butternut squash soup.
